The problem is that the connection is not stable sometimes it fails and so the program fails to communicate and terminate.

Since the application run in user-mode, so there something called IO permission bitmap and it a bit and so based on the value in this bit either the user-mode IO instruction is executed or not. ![]() I am wondéring is this probIem also applicable tó MS-DOS 6.22 and to my case.
